I will not contest in the next assembly elections: BS Yeddyurappa
I will not contest in the next assembly elections. I have already resigned from the post of Chief Minister. Former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that he will not contest the elections as he is 80 years old.
He responded to the question whether BSY will contest in the next assembly elections. I have already resigned from the post of Chief Minister. Will not contest the next election. He said that he will travel across the state to build the party.
B.Y.Vijayendra is also touring the state. Son Vijayendra compensates for everything. I am walking with Vijayendra. I have not retired from politics. He said that if God gives him strength, he will run in the next election as well.
BJP coming to power in Karnataka is as true as Surya Chandra is. We all sit and discuss and then select the suitable candidates. We will give tickets to the winning candidate after conducting not one but two surveys. We do not compromise on this. We will face the winning candidate. He said that the number of aspirants for the winning party and the party that creates power will be large.
BJP will try to bring it to power in the state. I will not go into national politics. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee invited me to the Center when he was Prime Minister. The party has given me all status, authority and respect in the state. He said that it is my responsibility to pay off the debt and I will travel across the state.
